Identification of English Learners (ELs)

Intended Audience: Content area teachers, classroom teachers, coaches, co-teaching teams, grade level teams, and school teams.

Course Description: This session will go into detail in the process in how students are identified as an English Learners (EL) at the school level, requirements of notification, the process of screening for ELs (including WIDA and W-APT), the connection to the CDE Data Pipeline, and the steps of progression for language proficiency.

This course includes:
